THE WORLD IS LOUD. LOVE IS LOUDER.

How to Stay Grounded in Love When Everything Around You Is Falling Apart

We can’t pretend the world feels okay right now. It doesn’t. If you’re trying to convince yourself it does won’t help you — or anyone else. 

What's happening around us is real. The fear is real. The grief is real. The anger is real. The energy of all of it is palpable.

But here is what I know for sure from my near-death experience alone that has changed the entire direction of my life:

Love is not just a feeling. It is a frequency. And right now, our world desperately needs people who know how to use it.

WHY STAYING CALM ISN'T ABOUT IGNORING WHAT’S HAPPENING

There's a big misunderstanding about what it means to stay calm during hard times. 

Some people may think of others who stay calm as checking out, not caring, or living in some kind of spiritual bubble while the world is seemingly out of control around you.

The calm I’m referring to here is not about avoidance at all. It is about paying attention to everything that’s happening, feeling the weight of it, and recognizing the gift it actually is. You can choose to be swept away by the energy of it. You can also choose to use your energy differently as the most powerful gift you have as a human. 

Emotional regulation is the ability to feel your emotions without being controlled by them. The most effective technique for this type of regulation is to use the frequency of Love. 

LOVE IS AN ENERGY — AND ENERGY CAN BE DIRECTED

Generationally we have been treating Love like it’s a passenger.  As though it’s something that shows up when conditions of life are right and then suddenly disappears when things get tough. We wait for it to come back. We hope we can feel it again. We wonder where it went.

Collectively we don’t understand Love yet. Love is not a passenger. Love is the vehicle.

During my near-death experience I had so many profound moments that have quite literally changed the way in which I view life. I was walking out of a conference room where I attended a meeting with a group of Ascended Masters, Archangels, and Saints. The topic was all about protecting Love. I don’t remember how many of us were in the meeting, but I remember Archangel Michael being next to me. Anyway, as I exited through the door I was looking at the ground in deep thought about what I had listened to. Then I remember feeling a presence before me as I was walking out so I looked up. There was an 8 foot tall snowy white beautiful being with Himalayan blue eyes, wearing a snowy white robe as His clothing standing watching me. I literally stopped in my track. I felt this incredible warmth and a Love so off the charts I couldn’t believe it! I was already in Heaven. I had to ask, “Who are you?”

He said, “I am Father Time.”

“Father Time? You’re real? I thought you were a fairy tale like the rest of them,” I responded. 

“No,” He replied, “I’ve been with you throughout every life.” 

This was quite surprising to me as I’m sure you can imagine just by my sharing my story with you here. But there is something incredibly poignant about the closing of our conversation I wan you to know. Father Time announced, “I must leave now.” 

The amount of Love I felt from Him I was ready to say whatever I could to keep Him there with me. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. “God ordered me to write a book. Is there anything You would like to add to it?”

“Yes,” He said without hesitation, “Time does not heal all wounds. Only Love heals all wounds throughout time.”

I have never stopped thinking about those words since they were spoken to me. 

I invite you to read that over and over again. In fact, I’m encouraging you to write it with lipstick on your bathroom mirror!

We have handed our healing over to time for centuries. We say things like "it'll get better" and "give it a few years." But time is neutral. Time does not ‘care’ about your pain, it only holds it for you energetically. Time is an energy of Love constantly moving waiting to be used as the power it is. If this is true for individual wounds, it is absolutely true for the global ones as well.

Our world is reflecting a collective wound that has been bleeding for thousands of years. The only cure for this repeating wound is Love. Time does nothing. Politics says one thing, but the outcomes only mirror our world history. Outrage is energy misused. Love is the answer. 

The question should always be : What are you transmitting right now? Fear? Rage? Despair? Or Love?

 THIS IS A COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY

Because of everything I have lived and been exposed to from my NDE, I know we are experiencing a huge moment in our world’s history where Love cannot be looked at as just an option. Right now we can’t afford as a collective to perceive Love as a nice idea or occasional feeling. Love is the only thing that will determine what happens next, but we must do it together. 

When enough people consciously choose to operate from Love — as the power it is with skill, peace, and intention —  the frequency of our globe will shift.  This is how energy works.

Think about the people in your life who carry a reassuring strength about them. When they get on the phone with you or walk into the room, something shifts inside of you. You know they bring a reassurance of ‘everything will be okay’ that translates as their auric field energetically. It is their dominant frequency. It’s solid and feels great.

You have the power to be the same way. You can practice it. The world needs you to help them. You must help others in order to help yourself. We are all one. No matter what. 

HOW TO ACTUALLY DO THIS — RIGHT NOW

I'm going to share with you what I think works.

First — notice what energy you're feeding.

Every time your mind scrolls through outrage, replays conflict, or gets stuck in fear mode — you are feeding a frequency. That frequency can grow, but to what extent is up to you. It is your choice. All of us can be intentional about how long we sit with the energy inside of us.

Second — Fear 

Fear can be shot forth like a pinball in the pinball machine and touch upon many things inside of us. When you feel as though your mind is spinning out, put your hands on your chest and close your eyes. Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 8 seconds, and then exhale through your mouth for 7 seconds. Do it at least 3 times in a row, but aim for 5. Then ask yourself a question: What does Love want me to do right now? Not my fear. Not my anger. What does Love want?

Third — be the example, not the commentary.

The most powerful thing you can do in a storm is not explain the storm. There are too many reasons underneath it. Just be still. Be present. Be intentional. People don't need another voice telling them how bad things are. They need to see someone who knows how to carry Love through it. Be that person. I know it can be done.

YOU ARE NOT POWERLESS

Time will not fix what needs fixing in this world of ours. History has proven this to be true. 

Only Love heals. And Love needs people who are willing to carry it  deliberately, even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.

You are one of those people. I know you are. We all are. 

When I was in Heaven during my NDE, Jesus came up to me and asked me if I would speak with Him. Of course I said ‘Yes.’ He asked me what it was that was still bothering me. I began, “I was sexually abused for years as a child, my best friend died in my car accident at age nine, I was raped at age twenty and became pregnant from it. Then I had to make a decision I never wanted to have to make. An abortion. Why was no one protecting me?”

Jesus was calm and asked me, “What if I were to tell you every experience you’ve had in your life is a child within you? What would you do to those children?” 

“Evict them immediately,” I said without hesitation. 

“Ah,” He said, “I see we have more to talk about.” I was not allowed to remember what this part of the conversation was, but Jesus asked me another question when He was done speaking. “Listening to what I have shared with you I am going to ask you a question again. Now that you know every experience is a child within you, what would you do to those children? Keep in mind every child is you.” 

That was when my soul lit up on cue. The mother I was on earth was listening. I felt it deeply. I replied, “I would acknowledge them, listen to them, nurture them, and Love them.” 

“That’s beautiful,” He said, “If you could name your children, what would you name them?” 

In that moment I felt so embarrassed because originally I was going to evict my children. Here I am standing in Heaven in front of Jesus. I remember looking down at the ground and my eyes welled up with tears. Then I looked back up at Him in His eyes and replied, “Love.” 

“Wow,” Jesus responded, “Why would you name them all Love?” 

I understood with absolute clarity what I was saying in that moment. “Because Love is who gave me life. I chose everything with Love before I was born.”

The world is filled with perhaps billions of people, but every person has children inside of them. Each needs a new direction and talking point. Can you imagine if we all began acknowledging one another, listening to one another, and nurturing one another so everyone feels the Love?

It can happen. It’s our choice. It’s this simple.
